# Holidoodle

> Holidoodle is a one-line JavaScript snippet that makes any website celebrate each visitor's own holidays, like Google's holiday doodles. It detects the visitor's country at the edge and, on that country's holiday, shows a five-second centered greeting card in the visitor's language with the site's logo, then fades away. 207 countries, 4,400+ days a year, 60 languages. Days of mourning get a respectful card, never confetti. Free plan; Pro $3/month; Agency $19/month.

- Install: `<script src="https://holidoodle.dev/embed.js" data-key="YOUR_KEY" async></script>` on every page. About 22 KB gzipped, async, no cookies, no images.
- Visitor-based: a US store visited from Istanbul on 29 October greets Republic Day in Turkish; a visitor from Munich on 24 December sees "Frohe Weihnachten".
- Design: no images. The script reads the site's fonts, colors and corners, checks what is behind the greeting and picks one of six looks automatically.
- Layers: centered greeting (about 5 s, once per visitor per holiday), greeting ribbon, atmosphere effects (snow, confetti, petals, lanterns), logo accessory (Santa hat, lantern, waving flag), holiday favicon, and live weather (real snow or rain where the visitor is).
- Data: official public holidays for 207 countries (date-holidays), Diyanet religious days for Turkey, Hindu and Buddhist festival dates from the panchang, Mother's/Father's/Teachers'/Children's Day for 100+ countries.
- Adapts to the site: reads the brand name, logo, accent colour and heading font from the page automatically.
- Privacy: no cookies, no personal data, no IP storage; anonymous daily view counts per country.
