Add Holidoodle to BigCommerce

Paste one line once. From then on your BigCommerce site greets each visitor on their own country's holidays, in their language, with your logo.

1. Copy your line

Sign in to your Holidoodle dashboard to get your key, or use the line below and replace YOUR_KEY.

2. Paste it in BigCommerce

1. In the control panel go to Storefront → Script Manager (Multi-Storefront: Channel Manager → your storefront → Script Manager).
2. Click Create a Script.
3. Enter a Script name, e.g. Holidoodle.
4. Placement: Footer. Location: Storefront pages.
5. Script category: Functional.
6. Script type: Script (enter manually), then paste the full script tag.
7. Click Save.

Where the code goes: Script Manager → Footer → Storefront pages.

Good to know

• Use 'Storefront pages', not 'All pages'. Checkout pages need SRI integrity hashes (PCI DSS 4.0) and only work with Optimized One-Page Checkout.
• The script category ties into the cookie consent banner. If consent tracking is on, 'Targeting' or 'Analytics' scripts wait for consent, so choose Functional.
• Scripts must include their <script> tags and be under 64 KB.
• Changes take about 20 seconds to cache.

3. Check it works

Open the storefront in incognito, view the source and search for 'embed.js'.

To see a holiday right now, open your site with ?hd_country=TR&hd_date=2026-10-29 at the end of the address. Any country and date work.
