Add Holidoodle to Wix

Paste one line once. From then on your Wix site greets each visitor on their own country's holidays, in their language, with your logo.

1. Copy your line

Sign in to your Holidoodle dashboard to get your key, or use the line below and replace YOUR_KEY.

2. Paste it in Wix

1. Open your site's dashboard and click Settings.
2. Under Development & integrations, click Custom Code.
3. Click + Add Custom Code (top right).
4. Paste the script tag and give it a name, e.g. 'Holidoodle'.
5. Under Add Code to Pages choose All pages, then Load code on each new page.
6. Under Place Code in choose Body - end (or Head).
7. Click Apply.

Where the code goes: Settings → Custom Code, All pages, Body - end.

Good to know

• Custom Code only runs on a published site with a connected domain.
• If you assign a different domain to the site, Wix deletes your custom code snippets, so add the tag again.
• Choose 'Load code on each new page' rather than 'once' so the widget re-renders after Wix's client-side page changes.
• Don't use the Embed HTML element (Add → Embed Code → Embed HTML): it runs inside an iframe and can't reach your page.

3. Check it works

Open the live domain (not the editor preview) in incognito, then use DevTools → Network and filter by 'embed.js'.

To see a holiday right now, open your site with ?hd_country=TR&hd_date=2026-10-29 at the end of the address. Any country and date work.
