Add Holidoodle to React (Vite / CRA)

Paste one line once. From then on your React (Vite / CRA) site greets each visitor on their own country's holidays, in their language, with your logo.

1. Copy your line

Sign in to your Holidoodle dashboard to get your key, or use the line below and replace YOUR_KEY.

2. Paste it in React (Vite / CRA)

1. Open index.html in the project root (Vite) or public/index.html (Create React App).
2. Paste the script tag right before </body> (or in <head>).
3. Rebuild and deploy (npm run build).

Where the code goes: right before </body> in index.html.

Good to know

• In Vite, index.html at the project root is the app's entry point, so tags there ship on every route.
• SPAs change routes without reloading. The script loads once, and the widget must react to route changes.
• Update CSP headers (if any) to allow the workers.dev domain.

3. Check it works

Open the deployed site, then use DevTools → Network and filter by 'embed.js'.

To see a holiday right now, open your site with ?hd_country=TR&hd_date=2026-10-29 at the end of the address. Any country and date work.
