Add Holidoodle to Squarespace

Paste one line once. From then on your Squarespace site greets each visitor on their own country's holidays, in their language, with your logo.

Requirements: Core, Plus or Advanced (or some legacy Business/Commerce plans). Personal plan doesn't include code injection.

1. Copy your line

Sign in to your Holidoodle dashboard to get your key, or use the line below and replace YOUR_KEY.

<script src="https://holidoodle.dev/embed.js" data-key="YOUR_KEY" async></script>

2. Paste it in Squarespace

  1. In the editor open Pages, scroll to Website Tools (some newer sites label it Custom Code) and click Code Injection. You can also type 'code injection' in the search box in the dashboard.
  2. Paste the script tag into the Footer field (or Header).
  3. Click Save.

Where the code goes: Code Injection → Footer (before </body>) on every page.

Good to know

3. Check it works

Log out (or open incognito), view the page source and search for 'embed.js'.

To see a holiday right now, open your site with ?hd_country=TR&hd_date=2026-10-29 at the end of the address. Any country and date work.
