Holidoodle / Install / WooCommerce
3 minutes · WooCommerceAdd Holidoodle to WooCommerce
Paste one line once. From then on your WooCommerce site greets each visitor on their own country's holidays, in their language, with your logo.
Requirements: Any (WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin, so the WordPress requirements apply)
1. Copy your line
Sign in to your Holidoodle dashboard to get your key, or use the line below and replace YOUR_KEY.
<script src="https://holidoodle.dev/embed.js" data-key="YOUR_KEY" async></script>
2. Paste it in WooCommerce
- Do it exactly as on WordPress: Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin with our .zip, then Install Now → Activate Plugin.
- Or install the free WPCode plugin, open Code Snippets → Header & Footer, paste the tag into Footer and click Save Changes.
Where the code goes: site-wide footer via our plugin or WPCode.
Good to know
- Exclude embed.js from JS-delay or combine settings in your cache plugin.
- Cart and checkout pages are often excluded from page cache, so they can show the widget before other pages do. Clear the cache after installing.
3. Check it works
View the source of the shop, product and cart pages in incognito and search for 'embed.js'.
To see a holiday right now, open your site with ?hd_country=TR&hd_date=2026-10-29 at the end of the address. Any country and date work.
